Policies that can affect the corporate wellness environment include:
*Posters and other posted educational materials
*Programs to avoid “sitting disease” like Six for 60, move for 3
*Change vending machines and code them red, yellow, and green
*Move placement of vending machines, if appropriate
*Offer healthier food in meetings
*Have access to fitness facilities and/or access to workout gear (clothes, shoes, etc.). Know the “12 minutes or 2 mile rule”. If people have to go more than 12 minutes or 2 minutes to a gym to work out, the changes of them going are dramatically reduced.
