I am back from the awesome/amazing Mountain Ventures Summit sponsored by the Telluride Foundation in conjunction with the Telluride Venture Accelerator. I It was a full room of folks wanting to know and discuss how work is changing:
• As high as 34% of workers in America make their earnings through non-traditional employment.
• Some research shows all net employment growth from 2005 – 2015 was the result of these alternative work arrangements
• 73% of people are not familiar with the term “sharing economy”*

What I thought was of incredible interest are the values of our future workforce (very much flipped from the baby boomer generation):
#1 Being happy
#2 Having a family
#3 Having a job you love
#4 Owning a home
#5 Being debt-free
#6 Making a lot of money**
