I love the time around the New Year. Time to reflect back, be present, look ahead. I enjoy thinking about what I want to do, be, and feel in the new year. It is a time to let those creative juices flow.
One of the things I want to do more of in 2017 is experiment in the kitchen. I have always been a big fan of home cooked meals (and have been involving my kids in cooking since they were really little!), but I am still always looking for new ideas.
Sometimes thinking out of the box is a great way to boost your creativity. When it comes to recipes, a great way to think out of the box is to look to other cultural/ethnical traditions for ideas.
Here are some ethnic-based mini-cookbooks I’d love to share with you. Take a new look at them at see what new ideas you might find!
Happy 2017! Looking for more inspiration on how to make the most of the New Year? You might enjoy my recent podcast interview with life coach Jen Coken where we talk about why it is so important to wrap up the past with a bow before moving on to a new future. The New Year is a great time to set resolutions, yet research shows that only 7-9% of folks actually keep their resolutions.
