I am so grateful to all my wonderful friends and family who are rallying around the release this week of Mountain Mantras: Wellness and Life Lessons from the Slopes.
The list of people involved in this project is HUGE, and I want to thank them all.
So please see the list below.
But I had to take a screen shot of the #1 New Release status of the book, which just came up yesterday morning. I’m off today on another trip to talk about the book, this time in Twin Falls, ID.
Stay tuned for an AWESOME promotion on September 28th when I’ll be giving away a free promotion including multi media materials worth over $100 (6 podcasts, multiple recipe books and more).
Acknowledgments (excerpt from the book)
It is with great delight that I take an opportunity to express my gratitude for so many individuals and groups who have helped me on this journey. Writing this book has been like the many other creative processes in my life, based on collaboration and teamwork. Some of you could be named in multiple areas because of how helpful you have been, but I’ve taken measure to name folks only once. You are just an über-helpful group!
Thank you to my family for supporting me through all that I do: my mom, Marilyn, and my dad, Robert, for showing me that parenting is a lifelong commitment; my sister, Suzanne, for being my childhood companion and setting an academic standard that pushed me to excel at an early age; Grandma Busia for her sage advice and inventive spirit; my aunts, Barb, Candace, Carol, Joan, and Joanne, for setting fantastic examples of how to be creative and inspiring women; my uncles, Bill, Eugene, Joe, John, and Paul, for setting great examples of how to be fun yet dignified men; my stepmom, Judy, and my stepsisters, Joanna and Jessica, for always being so good-natured and supportive. I am grateful for my in-laws, Terry and Wes, for their unwavering support and love. Gratitude for my sister in-law, Sandra, and her husband, Hugh, for being so awe-inspiring. Thank you, Jeff, for always having my back while holding my hand. Huge kisses to my kids, Elena and Alexander, for having unique and special perspectives on the world.
Thank you to my sweet pets for helping keep a smile on my face throughout the long hours of writing: dogs Black Jack and Abby, bunnies Anna and Elsa, and fish Sushi and Wasabi. Thank you to Karsten Fostvedt and everyone at St. Francis Pet Clinic in Ketchum, Idaho for keeping everyone healthy and happy.

Thank you to the Community School of Sun Valley for the incredible educational opportunities you have given our family. Thanks also to the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation for taking our kids under your wings; they have learned to fly down the slopes much faster than both mom and dad.
Finally, thanks to all of the participants in my education seminars over these many years. Teachers always learn so much from their students, just as mentors learn so much from their mentees. Know that your lessons and your mantras are represented in these pages.
